i like big snacks...

to me, one of life simple pleasures, is spending a couple minutes mid-afternoon to concoct a ridiculously delicious snack for oneself.
for example this (not no little) lovely:

here you have an open faced croissant topped with hunks of mobay cheese*, baby roma tomatoes and fresh, home grown basil (fresh cracked pepper & sea salt to top). healthy? probably not. but hey, at least i'm getting a dose of lycopene.

* mobay is a wonderful cheese: half sheep, half goat's milk, divided by a layer of grape vine ash. it has a wonderful tangy, earthy, yet "bright" flavor.... yeah i know, i'm a nerd.
